Proposed Development Project Update

Some people have come to me with questions about the proposed development project, thank you for these questions. I promise to do my best to answer questions as they arise. The project is in the very early stages of fact finding to see what’s possible. As part of this porcess, the Diocesan Team and Architects are coming to the parish on the 15th of February to meet the Parish Councils and have a walk around the grounds.

There seems to be some misinformation circulating in the community about the project. As I advised at Mass last weekend, please only listen to updates and information that comes from the Parish. I will update you on a regular basis at Mass, in our newsletter, on our Facebook page and on our website. Any information that doesn’t come directly from the parish should not be trusted. I don’t want people upset and stressed bacuse of ‘things they’ve heard’ – please only listen to the information we provide.

The Diocese and Architects will host a number of meetings and focus groups as the project progresses. I will notify you of these in advance. All are welcome to attend.
